glassfare is stained glass studio based in Portland, Maine created in 2024 by Colleen Finnell. 

Colleen has always admired stained glass and felt inspired to learn the craft after a visit to The Schvitz in Detroit - captivated by a large piece off their lobby (pictured here).

Colleen creates work rooted in pattern, geometry, and vibrant color. Influenced by the bold palettes of the ’60s and ’70s and the principles from folk art, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Bauhaus design, she seeks to merge art with function—bringing light, structure, and a bit of color therapy into modern living spaces.

She practices both the lead came and foil methods.
